The Bob Gray Orchestra played for our wedding reception on 6/20/15. They were truly a gift. The communication was smooth and they were very accommodating. Our reception was on the third floor and they still brought all their equipment up without any help.

The Bob Gray Orchestra was able to play my 40th birthday party at a last minute notice (I booked them within 3 weeks of the event). Working with Tom to iron out the last minute details was easy and stress-free as he was completely professional and detail oriented

The Bob Gray Orchestra surpassed my expectations in every way! They were very quick at returning emails and phone calls, and they were extremely professional in their communication and their demeanor on the wedding day.

The orchestra was a pleasure to have perform at our wedding! Their sound and vocals were silky smooth and top notch. Their performance was very polished. Our guests were entertained all evening, and many were recording videos of their performance. We worked with Tom Billing to put together a precise playlist for the reception and they pulled it off to a T. Big thanks to Bob, Tom and the group for a great evening!

The Bob Gray Orchestra played for our wedding reception on 6/20/15. They were truly a gift. The communication was smooth and they were very accommodating. Our reception was on the third floor and they still brought all their equipment up without any help. Our list was customized to the songs we liked and they played them incredibly well. They even gave us a bit of personal flare on a few of the songs. I would highly recommend these guys as they are truly amazing and worth every cent.

The party was a 1940's theme so the band wore matching period attire and played fantastic music, all from that time period as we requested. They were able to make recommendations on music to play and were accommodating for us to play our iPod on their breaks. I heard so many great compliments on the music and the guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I highly recommend the Bob Gray Orchestra - they are fantastic. The Bob Gray Orchestra surpassed my expectations in every way! They arrived to set up way ahead of time, handled announcements during the reception with ease, and knew exactly what to play to keep people out of their seats. Our dance floor was literally packed the entire night! I'm looking for an excuse to have another big event, just so I can have them play for me again! We were so very pleased with the band, and all of your professionalism and helpfulness leading up to the big day!

As Chair of the 2014 Opera Ball, I worked closely with Bob Gray and his team to select the music for our 1940’s themed event “In the Mood”. The ball was a huge success and this was due in great part to the music which was fabulous and which kept to the theme throughout the entire evening. So many guests have since told us that this was the best ball they had ever attended and that The Bob Gray Orchestra was fabulous.

``There is nothing like listening to a group of seasoned professionals, playing, tight, well written charts, who know what they're doing, performing in a relaxed manner and having fun. Every musician in the band is an excellent instrumentalist....no weak links. Over the years I've been privileged to hear many groups.....you guys ranks up in the top tier.``

They could not have done a better job for us and our guests. I received compliments all night. We had people dancing in the hall. I would hire them again without hesitation. We had a very happy group due in good part to you and the orchestra. I'll recommend you to anyone. I just can't thank you enough. People kept asking me where I found you and I just kept saying, ``In underrated Springfield``. It was like having a private concert. I can't wait to cross paths again.

We were at Riverscape on August 8th, 2013, having attended all of the first four bands that performed this year. The Bob Gray Orchestra plays the best dance music of all the dance bands this year! They are Number #1! Mike & Ann (Dancers)

The Bob Gray Orchestra performed outstandingly for our New Year's Eve event (2012) - so much so , that we will be bringing them back for our summer concert series! Can't go wrong with these guys!

Your band put on a great show and I’ve heard nothing but 100% rave reviews from patrons who attended the event. They loved what they heard and loved dancing to your performance. You had a great selection of tunes in a wide range of musical styles that got people up and onto the dance floor, and every number was delivered just-right, even to the back-up vocal harmonies on “My Girl”!

I know everyone at the DPO looks forward to making “Dance to the Music” an annual event, and to having the Bob Gray Orchestra as our permanent “house band”.

I think what we enjoyed so much about the band was the great music that was played ... everybody was dancing. I feel like you really take your chances with a DJ. I've been to too many wedding receptions where the little kids and older aunts and uncles and grandparents are sitting there watching the ``twenty somethings`` dance to really bad ``bar`` music. A wedding reception isn't the place for that. I also thought you guys did a great job keeping everything moving by announcing everything. A lot of times people miss things because they didn't know what was taking place when. We've heard from so many of our guests how much they enjoyed our reception and the band was the biggest part of that. Please feel free to contact Nick or myself for a reference anytime, we've already mentioned you to a couple of folks in our area.
